Bull's Balls....

Fear Factor

Kaden participated in the fear factor contest for the Juab County Fair. The contestants ranged from 11 to 17.  I have to give Kaden some credit, because I've always thought he was a sis- and he proved me wrong tonight!  He's the kind of kid that's scared of grasshoppers and won't hardly touch or do anything gross. He'd rather not carve a pumpkin than clean it's guts out. 

His first round they took the first 21 people to eat a whole banana with peel and stem-he made it. 

Second round, he had to put another contestant's earwax cutip in his mouth and hop on one foot as long as possible to make it to the last 12 people-he made it.

Third round, he had to eat a lint sandwich.  Belly button lint was saved throughout the last year and was mixed with mayo and put on bread- it was very hairy.  Kaden shoved it all in his mouth in one bite and swallowed- he made it (top 9). 

Fourth round, he received a cow poop makeover.  He laid down on a chair and someone poured cups of cow poop over his face-his was runny, others recieved chunks and blobs- they had to stay on the chair and endure the makeover- he made it.

Fifth round, they each had to eat a small plate of bull's balls aka Rocky Mountain Oysters.  I thought for sure Kaden would back out!  He didn't, he ate them right up-all the while gagging and heaving.  He finished the plate of bull's balls, but not soon enough:( by only a few seconds another person beat him- he was eliminated.  They only took the top 5 to the championship round.  I was truly impressed he made it as far as he did!

The last round the players had to fully immerse themselves in freezing cold water in a cow trough with dead catfish, then eat a worm and swallow a live fish.  I think Kaden could have done that easier than eating bull's balls.  The winner received $100. 

Kaden said the worst round was the bull's balls because they had veins and chewy things in them. Most of them were dry, but one was wet.  He said it was like eating a NASTY hamburger.
